At this time in which we live, many are losing hope in the future with so many challenges
ahead of us: climate change, wars, polarization and many more. We can become
overwhelmed.
Yet during this uncertainty Jesus appears in this time of our discontent. When we say that we
are living “in Christ” what we are saying is that Christ is present in all aspects of our lives. He
wants to be a part in all that we are and all that we do. Now is not the time to lose heart. He
gives us grace plus hope and asks us to work hard to bring about “the kingdom of God on
earth as it is in heaven.” Do you believe that each person has unique gifts to share for the
world? Rather that bury our gifts we are called to use them to make the world better. We
can begin by making a difference in “our world.” How, when, and where could start by
listening to God in our prayer. With God’s backing, we will be able to be and do great things.
We will then see miracles happening in us and through us.
